Change your plan and save money

Everybody knows that financial problems can be solved by cutting down expenses or by raising incomings - in an ideal case by the combination of two. The problem is that how can we decide which are the expenses that can be removed without much suffering. Well, telecommunication could be such.

On the other areas the prices are mostly fixed, of course they may change with the economical circumstances. Not in telecommunication: in Hungary this sector is governed by strict state agencies. It is due to them that while everything on the market costs more, the telecommunicational services become cheaper.

The price of a certain service may fall with 10-30 percents, so it is worth to look for the new actions after your actual contract expired. It is almost certain that the same services is cheaper for the new clients. The ISPs usually sanction the switch to smaller plans, but you can switch to a bigger one anytime (even if you have a valid contract with them).

Only one example: our plan costed 8000 HUF per month, and we got for it maximum 4 Mbps download speed. Meantime T-com (our ISP) changed the plans: they offer 8 Mbps for 7000 HUF. We switched (we did online, without going in the office!) to that and we save 12000 HUF per year, besides we can enjoy now a much better service.

So it is worth to keep an eye on the new plans, because it may happen you can get a better service at a better price, and today every penny is counting.
